Internet Radio – Aural Moon

A quick post about my favorite internet radio station, Aural Moon. If you like all forms of Progressive Rock, then you will likely enjoy Aural Moon. Since I’ve been listening (late 2002), I’ve actually purchased more CDs per month. I attribute this to the great influx of recordings I have never been exposed to previously. In particular, some the non-US bands are fabulous.

  1. Yeah, you need to check this site out if you are into progressive music…… I listened to it a lot when I was visiting John….. It’s K-o-o-l…….

Please tell me more. How do I use Web radio- do I need software etc?

  3. Yes, you need a player. My favorite Windows player is WinAmp. It’s a free player that works very well. I believe iTunes can play internet radio as well. Once you set up a player, then go to the Aural Moon site and click one of the links under Listen on the lower left hand side. Happy listening!

Thanks I downloaded WINAMP and have used it to listen to some mp3s I got from a co-worker Thanks again

  5. Bobby told me about musicmatch.com. It lets you rip and burn CDs, to and from MP3s.
I’m using it to rip my CDs to MP3 and then I can listen to them all mixed-up on Winamp like a gaint jukebox. I already have over 12 hours of MP3s.
My dial-up is too slow for internet radio (lots of jumps and pops), although I only tried it once. Midday sunday is probably not the best time.

  6. You might have better success at the 24k stream, although with a sacrifice of quality. If MusicMatch gives you trouble (its interface is a little confusing), try iTunes.
