New music – very nice
A friend of mine loaned me Absolution by Muse. He described it as Radio Head meets Queen. That’s a pretty good description. The Queen aspect is mostly vocal, as there are no Brian May style guitars. To me, the harmonies at times are very ELOish ala Jeff Lynn. I really enjoy the CD and have listened to it 4 times in a row. I’m definitely going to pick up a copy. I listened to all the samples….. Sounds good….. I’ll probably pick-up a copy next time I’m at Best Buy going on YOUR recommendation…..

I guess I’ll just have to admit that “The City” area may be catching up with Seattle…. I rode along with Robo to the Target at Midwest Blvd. and Reno….. I thought, just for a laugh, I would check out their CD section, which is very small, for the “Absolution” album…. Not only did they have it in stock – They had FOUR (4) copies!!!….. I was so astonished I forgot to buy one!….. (Not really, Ha-Ha)….
