Contributions Sought
This is a most worthy cause and should receive your highest consideration……. I need to raise a few million, possibly even a billion or so to accomplish this most needed project……. I want to buy the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, bulldoze it to the ground, turn the property back into a natural grassland, and graze hornless (no “Longhorns” allowed) cows on it…….
Why, you ask?……. Have you ever tried to make a flight connection though DFW?……. I just returned from Seattle and had to face this impossible task in both directions…… I was disconnected, misdirected, misconnected, misunderstood, misplaced, and displaced all at the same time!……. The place is so large and layed out so badly they need an airline and/or a helicopter service totally dedicated to getting passengers from their arriving flight to their connecting flight on time without causing brain damage and/or physical handicaps to us poor traveling souls…… You need a college degree in DFW layout and be able to run the mile in under 4 minutes to even have a chance in hell to make any kind of connection…..
‘Tis the season for giving, so let’s start those contributions heading in this direction…… I promise to keep only one set of books (well, maybe no more than two)……..

MR, I’m sympathetic, as I’ve spent more than my share of time there in the summer, sitting on the 120+ degF tarmac in those little Brazilian turboprops with A/C not up to the task. Even in the best of conditions, it takes 20+ minutes to taxi from gate to runway.
However, my experiences over the past couple years lead me to believe that Chicago O’Hare is much, much worse. Especially for international flights. That needs to be taken care of first before I commit to your project!
