I just saw a Chase bank credit card commercial using “All You Need is Love”…… Luckily, they couldn’t use The Beatles recorded version, but, this one is so close you have to listen carefully to notice that it isn’t the original….. My question is if all you need is love, why on earth do I need a Chase credit card?……. Maybe in Nevada?…. No, no, that would only buy you sex, not love…… Do I need to explain why I’m blaming MJ (with a little help from Yoko Oh-No)?…….

With all the financial & other trouble MJ has brought upon himself, maybe he will sell the Beatles catalog to Paul & Ringo. That would be justice!

No, if he gave it back to them free – That would be justice!…… (and he could promise never to sing again, which I wouldn’t mind – Sorry ’bout that to all you MJ fans, but he’s not on the top of my list, actually, after looking, he’s not on my list….)

I can’t quite figure out if he still owns them or not… a year ago there was speculation that he might have to sell the catalog to repay loans.

Thanks, TTop, for the cool reference….. It re-enforced my dislike for MJ even more…. I wasn’t aware that he had sold off a portion of the rights to Sony, another of my favorite people…. Love their hardware, but, they need to stay out of music and videos….. I especially liked the CNN poll on the question, “Who should own The Beatle’s songs?”….. Out of 25,020 responses the results were as follows:
Michael Jackson – 8%
Hedge funds – 4%
The Beatles – 77%
Public Domain – 11%
I haven’t heard if someone else now owns The Beatle’s catalogue or not, but, I agree with the poll – It should be The Beatles – Paul, Ringo, and the estates of John and George…..

Actually, I guess I’m more put out with Paulie than Yoko…. He listened to her and held back on overbidding MJ because she convinced Paul of some hair-brained scheme to obtain the copyrights without adding more Pounds to the pot by postponing raising his bid offer….

I think right now Sir James MBE would be trying to spend as much money as he could to get rid of it before the Divorce gets messy. I am so sick of MJ I usually do not wish ill will on my fellow man but, If he died would anyone really miss him?
