In Canada that’s “Hoser-anna”…. eh?….. Does this mean you are overjoyed at the election results nationally, locally, or both?…… I’m not sure if immediate radical changes are going to be a good thing or not….. We’ll just have to wait and see and hopefully not pay for “changing horses in the middle of the stream” with more American lives and/or terrorists attacks in the U.S…….
Again, HOSANNA! Rummy is gone, gone , gone. I am overjoyed with the chance to straighten some things out. I would rather swim for it than stay on the horse we’ve had. Now the trick will be to hold the Dem’s feet to the fire to make the needed changes in Iraqi, fiscal policy, S.E.C. , environmental policy, campaign finance reform, government fraud and waist, international policy, habeas corpus, and, and, and, all the things this administration screwed up. Of course, I have no illusions about who runs this country, the dollar. ” The business of this country is Business”. If we don’t apply heat it will be business as usual.
The sad part about it all is within 1 year we will be saying the same thing about the Dem’s ( Why haven’t they done anything?) There will not be any significant change until we eliminate the whole party system and let the government function as it was designed to. Term Limits, Accountability for legislators, ban lobbyists, Campaign Finance Reform, Fair debates for all candidates running. Why should the independent, Green, Libertarian candidates be forced to sue and file court cases to get to be heard in a public forum?

Unfortunately keeping a Democracy is a fight that never ends. There’s always somebody that wants all the marbles.
