RtG, either you have “Too Much Time on Your Hands” or one hella of a reference library, but congratulations go out….. I’m going to have to get you sidetracked back into music again, so I can at least have an outside chance at one of those fabulous prizes Anon is handing out…..

Maybe a restatement of the rules is in order. I was under the impression we were doing this “Jeopardy”-style, i.e. not doing any research whatsoever. Either you know it or you don’t.

Well, yes. The rules are a little unstated. As I understand it research is OK but Googling is not. I have been trying to make the quizzes obscure enough so that it would require research.
What do you all think??? How should it work?
Now that RG has shown the quality of the prizes, every one is going to jump in. Competition will ratchet up a few notches.

That was my understanding also, HS, that you could use reference material other than your memory if you wanted to and had the time as long as it wasn’t a quick google…. I’m too lazy to go searching, so I usually just throw-in whatever comes to mind (no comments from the peanut gallery)……

My understanding that Google isn’t the only limitation: You’re not allowed to use the internet at all. This is all old-school research, with books.! Either you have ’em or you make a run to the library.

I apologise for not taking part in the latest quizzes, My Travel Agent/Dispatcher has decided that lately I don’t need to see as much of OKC as I once did. Therefore I am considering a career change soon. MR, You Need an assistant at work? I work cheap.

Sorry, J.J., I’m doing all the “cheap (in pay) work” myself….. The work’s another thing altogether….. Strange, I was gonna ask you if you needed an assistant driver…… See the world mile marker by mile marker and not have to join the military!……
