Yes, indeed. Here’s to “Blues Power” (Eric Clapton).

Well, Sunn, It looks as if you and I are the only hard core Blues fans in the MR Community….. I think I’ll just take a moment to “Dust My Broom”…..
Oh, Sorry, PD Bob’s yanking on my pant’s leg…. He claims he’s a Blues Dog from way back….. He even has a Prairie Dog size Fender Strat made in their custom shop….. (Personally I think he needs to do a little “wood-shedding” on his riffs)

Not really a blues fan per se, but B.B.’s guitar tone and expression are amazing.

That’s funny, Robo, you don’t look “Bluish”….. You’d better watch it or you’ll have “The Glove” after you (a little Yellow Submarine humor)…..
I thought I’d get a response out of you, Anon…. I know from our Seattle jams that you know your share of Blues licks….
H.S., I totally agree with you on B.B.’s tone and expression, as did Eric, Jimi, and God knows how many other known guitarists that have absorbed and blended B.B.’s style of playing into their own……

I like onions like “Green Onions” and also “Glass Onion”. Green Onions is a real nice instrumental with a very nice bass line.

I always enjoyed the old Booker T & The MG’s stuff.
Great musicians that greatly influenced my musicianship. Steve Cropper, Donald “Duck” Dunn, etc.
