My first thought was Jimmy Buffet, but, I think he hangs out around Florida, and, is for the most part a singer, then, I realized who it was – Only thing is I can’t remember his name – I can see him clear as day playing an oboe, or a clarinet, or some kind of wind instrument…… It’ll come to me….. Just wait, you’ll see (hey, it’s not as much fun on this end of a Quiz)……

I think I’ve got it!!!…. I was fixing a bowl of cereal this morning and it just popped in my head….. Kenny G….. I think that’s his name….. As far as the groups he was in, I would have to do an illegal Internet search, but, since this is an unofficial Quiz, and, there are no prizes that I know of, AND, the most important piece of intel I have is that Jek doesn’t even know the answer!!!!…. Who puts up a Quiz (I guess Guiz in this case), without knowing the bloody answer?…..
HS, “Southern California Mellow” is drippy, syrup-e, elevator music or Pee in the Sand (Mellow Yellow), or Pot……

Sorry MR, but I’m pretty sure it is not Kenny G. If you read his Wikipedia entry, he hasn’t played with any of the people mentioned. Furthermore, it is not apparent that he’s been a member of any group.

BTW, he is from Seattle and went to UW.
Soo MR, what vision led you to Kenny G. Maybe it is someone else?

Robo: No points for guessing, since MR is correct, and I do not know the answer. The good news is I can find out in a few days.
Please help.

I Don’t think I would’ve gotten that in a million years…… Never much of a Seals and Crofts fan, although, I may have one of their albums – as in LP – Vinyl – 33 1/3 rpm – Long ago……
