   Well we picked this load up in Eagle Pass, TX headed to Spartanburg, SC So here it is Sunday morn. Slept in getting a late start today, but we only have 462 miles to go. Starting today in Atmore, AL. lets do our pre trip insp. get our coffee and get into the wind.

   HEY! What’s the Deal? Why didn’t you invite me along? This Sucks. Boy, are you gonna pay!….. I’m a good co-whatever you need…. I write really good – just like Watson….. I’d make you stories classics!!!…. I’m just tryin’ to make a Deal, here, OK?….. (mumbling to himself) ….don’t worry, I can catch him before he gets out of Alabama! YEAH, RIGHT, Is he gonna be surprised or what?…… Did I say that out loud?….. e-e-eh?, can’t think straight under pressure, Boy you just wait ’til I catch up with that truck….. I gotta quit talking to myself, Aw-w-wh, who cares?…. I’ll just walk up and say, “Hey, J.J., goin’ somewhere?… I’m always runnin’ into people in the middle of nowhere, got room for another passenger?”…… It’ll Be GREAT!…..

   Looks like the Fur-Bot has plans for your trip….. How about some details?…. Like any complicated road construction going on?…. Any interesting looking cop cars?….. You know,like bright, loud colors, BIG light bars, blaring sirens – stuff you see and hear when they pull YOU over…. Get my drift?…… Oh, Yeah, got all your license’s and is that Log Book up-to-date?…… Just how late is late when you get on the road?….. How big of a hassle is in-town traffic?….. Details, J., Details….. You may have to take on the Fur-miester….. I can’t believe I said that….. Have fun…..

   J.J., it might be better if you make each day a different Post….. I’ve gotten into the Posting mood, and, I don’t want to overshadow your Post if you condense it down to just the one (1) Post – Know what I Mean?…… I plan to comment and quiz you as you make your cross-country observations….. It really sounds like fun….. I’ve always loved traveling and moving light….. How I pack-ratted so much stuff I’ll never know, but, It’s going out the door slowly but surely….. In a year or so, I just might, “Get my Motor Runnin’ – Move out on the Highway”…… Name your Post for tomorrow – Lookin’ at the World Through a Windshield 10/10/11″….. Put any comments for today (10/9/11) on this Post….. Don’t worry we’ll find them and comment….    Ok. Well here we are in Spartanburg, SC, today was pretty uneventful (except for this little furry rodent following me) Had some rain just SW of Atlanta, not like in OKC from what I hear, There must have been a car show somewhere down on the gulf coast because I saw much classic Detroit iron heading NE. also saw more than the usual compliment of law enforcement out today. You can’t tell me that gas is too high either, because the traffic is worse than it’s ever been. Stopped just NE OF Atlanta and created inflation at a wally world, didn’t know I was out of so much. Anyway, yes my log book is current, and it’s hard to get a ticket in a 65 mph truck pulling 44k in the box. Don’t know what our next load will be. till tomorrow, later do bye J.

   Interesting stuff, J.J. … Classic cars are always a cool thing to see tooling down the road….. If I still had my Hemi Challenger, I don’t know if I would even consider getting it out of the garage!…. I suspect some of the increase in “Cops on Patrol” is because this is Columbus Day weekend….. Of course, PDB might have put out an APB on your truck…. Are you sure he wasn’t in one of those State Cruisers?…. He has lots of friends in low places….. Yep, we got around 4″ of rain, of course, it zoomed in and zoomed out, and it’s now going to be steam bath time…… Waiting on the edge of my chair for your next report……
