It’s COLD!!……
Not only is it snowing here right now, it’s 19 degrees and we’re not supposed to get above freezing, day or night, until next Wednesday!….. Â It looks like we’ll break a new low record tonight that was set back in 1950, which was 5 degrees….. Â The low tonight is predicted to be 2 (YES, TWO (2) Degrees), plus a couple of other single digit nights before this thing breaks…. Â B-r-r-r-r-r…… Â The big OU-OSU game is scheduled to start at 11:00 am tomorrow……. Â They’re predicting kickoff temps between 12-18 degrees….. Â I think I’ll watch it on TV, if I can….. Â Since I don’t have cable, I usually go over to a friend’s house to watch the OU games, but, if there is still snow and ice on the roads, it’s not worth it….. Â Hopefully, it’ll be on regular air TV….. Â Of course, I guess I can’t complain too much, as we didn’t get the usual ice storm before the snow, so we are in a lot better shape than most of the US East of us…… Â Looks like this storm goes all the way across the U.S. South to North from border to border….. Â Looks like it’s going to be a L-o-n-g Winter….. Â Bundle up, check on your friends and neighbors, bring in the cat, light the fireplace, and stay home (if you’re able) and enjoy it as best you can….. Â Get out the snowshoes and build a snowman!…… Â Ho-Ho-Ho!……

Well, we didn’t break the all-time low, but, it did get down to 8 degrees and it’s been below freezing (day and night) since Friday and is supposed to stay that way until Wednesday and it’s been snowing off and on regularly!….. We’re about 30 degrees below the normal temps we usually have this time of year!…… Hopefully, this means we’ll get all of our bad Winter weather out of the way early, since we usually have our Winter in January/February….. Yeah, Sure, Well, one can only hope!……

It’s Cold…. NO DUH! I just fought my way from Denver to Waco, TX. Fri. nite E. of Denver -19 degrees. I finally saw some sunshine S. of OKC yesterday. DFW area was as bad as the media said it was. OK, This was funny for a minute now BRING BACK SUMMER!!….NOW KID.

Okay, Okay!, J.J., I agree with you!….. BRING BACK SUMMER ….. NOW, KID!!!!….. It was 5 degrees last night!….. That’s the coldest it’s been in Winter here since 2011 – The coldest for December since 2005….. We’re back-pedaling here!….. Soon, we’ll beat the all-time low of -8 set back in the ’30’s….. I wonder how accurate their thermometer’s were back then, and who took that reading anyway??….. Yup, it WAS funny for a minute or two, but, enough is enough!….. Anyone listening up there?……
