It’s Coming!…..
It’ll be here at 11:57 am CDT!!!….. Â You may ask, “What the Hell is he talking about?”…… Â And, I think I’ll give you the answer…… Â Here in Oklahoma, 11:57 am CDT today is the Official start of our Spring/Storm Season…… Â We had a “Rocky” Winter, although, not as bad as those poor souls North and East of us….. Â Some Snow, Ice, Cold Temps, in other words, “Rocky”…… Â Well, now that it’s Storm Season, Mother Nature starts throwing those “Rocks” at us, along with Buildings, Cars, Trees, People, you name it….. Â We, here at MR Central HQ, including PD Bob (Remember PDB?… He and Oscar have been complaining about being left out of the Blog so long, but, I’ve had to reject most of their scribblings on Moral and Profanity reasons…. Â I’m doing my best to civilize them, but, it’s an uphill battle, as anyone who has met them knows….) , we’re Battening Down the Hatches, preparing for the worst and praying for the best – a mild Spring (Yeah, like that’s going to happen…)….. Â Wish us Luck and we’ll stay in contact as long as communications stay up and running……

FINALLY!!!!! I have had enuf of Winter. I think Spring will be pretty nice, at least the first 10 minutes of it. The next 45 maybe a little rough. Then right into Summer!!! As for Sproing. A little rewrite. Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” 3rd chorus. ” Sweet Home Oklahoma, Where the Sky’s Spinnin’ Round, Sweet Home Oklahoma, Help me get back on the Ground!”

I agree that I’m tired of Winter, of course, I haven’t been out cruisin’ the entire US of A during it, like you, and your rewrite of SWA is about as close as you can get…… Just keep the Hail and the big twisty thingy’s away from my 240SX SE and my musical equipment and I’ll be happy…. That’s a BIG order in Oklahoma…… Finger’s are already crossed……

Spring warmth is eventually in sight, but without moisture it’s gonna be a pretty lame storm season. Very dry so far…

I know we need the rain…… We’ve been having high winds on a regular basis here lately, and lots of wild fires to go with it, so, yes, we need the rain….. I know it won’t happen, but, I hope we get the rain we need without the severe storms, the Hail, and the unmentionable tornadoes…… The favorite quote of the weather people here, stating about this time is, “Large Hail – Damaging Winds”….. That was on the weather about everyday last year, especially in about a week or so……

The weather forecasters here love to scare the beegeezus? out of the Okies, translating to boosted tv ratings. However, after last tornado season I had a an in-ground shelter installed in my garage. Hope I don’t have to use it.
