Muscle Shoals Studios…..
Anon sent this to me to Post on the Blog…..  He gets confused sometimes and/or doesn’t want to learn how to add links to a Post (Ha!).…..  This link on Muscle Shoals (click here) is on the PBS website and is pretty cool……  Here’s some  of the music from there:  “I’ll Take You There,” “Brown Sugar,” “When a Man Loves a Woman,” “I Never Loved a Man the Way That I Loved You,” “Mustang Sally,” “Tell Mama,” “Kodachrome,” and “Freebird” are just a few of the tens of thousands of tracks created in the FAME Studios of Muscle Shoals……  Check it out…..  Thanks Anon…..

Anon, I didn’t say you were confused as to who you are (although I am sometimes (Ha!))….. All I was saying is that you were confused as to how to add a link to a Post….. Now, whether it’s intentional or accidental, it’s always easier and safer to get someone else to do it….. In this case, I think it was smarter, you didn’t attempt it and screw up the Blog, so, I thank you, Anon….. I would much rather do the Post for you than try to get the Blog up and running again if you crash it (Ha-Ha!)….. Do keep on Posting, Anon, we need all the Posts and Comments we can get….

All i can say Is WOW. i just finished watching this. One of the best music Documentaries I have ever seen. Pure F’in magic came out of those studios. Like Keith Richards says “You spend most of your career trying to find that one perfect room, It’s here”. From the early sounds of Rhythm and Blues to some of Popular musics biggest hits came out of Fame and Later Muscle Shoals Sounds Studios. It is also the story of how certain events cause the fabric of time to move in certain directions, If a horn player recording on Aretha Franklin’s album and her drunk husband had not had a argument one evening Southern Rock probably would have never been born. The story that Gregg Allman tells about how Duane Allman got his trademark slide sound to how one of the Most recognizable and iconic Rock songs ever recorded, Freebird came to be it is a story that should be seen by all Musicians and music historians alike. Many people probably would be amazed to know how many of their favorite artists biggest hits were actually recorded in those humble little studios.
