The Fireman
Check out the newest offering from Sir James Paul McCartney Done as his alter ego “The Fireman” I have been listening to it on his dedicated channel on Sirius-XM and I think it is one of his best works in a while. I am finding out this his 3rd project as “The Fireman” The 1st being in ’93 “Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest” and the second coming in ’98 “Rushes”The first 2 are insturmental works, and kind of “expermental” but the new one” Electric Arguements” is full of good rockers and soft listens. BTW MR, Macca is sort of calling this “McCartney III”

Thanks for sharing J. I must be out of the loop, as I haven’t heard about this. Here’s a link in case others want a listen:

I really like the spacey stuff. Some of his best in a long while….

Downloaded & listened to the Macca. For me, the jury’s out. Some of it reminds me of Revolution#9, not my favorite beatle cut. If the intent is ambient music, I still prefer Brian Eno, etc.
IMHO, this is for hardcore Beatle collectors. However, I do intend to listen to it some more, before making a final judgement. Anyway, thanks for the tip. We don’t always agree on this forum, but it makes for some interesting discussions.

Sunn: I agree on this one about the first two, and also tend to prefer Eno’s work but the newest Fireman work “Electric Arguements” Is as far as i am concerned Classic Macca.
